Thank you for the set of methodological materials "The accounting and taxation methods in  rural credit cooperatives – summary of regional experiences and recommendations", developed by your organization within of frames of the long-term research project, which you sent to the World Bank Moscow Office.

From our point of views, it is of great interest, as the work technique, the accounting and taxation systems were analyzed and systematized in this research in terms of the current Legislation and the Law cases available in the Region, as well as the interaction peculiarities of fifteen operating Credit Cooperatives in eight Russian Regions with the local tax offices.

It is topical to conduct such researches. It is almost impossible to develop a perfect functioning model of a rural credit cooperative in the existing Legislative field interpreted ambiguously. These research materials will be very useful and can be claimed both by the operating and newly established rural credit cooperatives, public authorities in forming their regional policy of rural credit cooperation development.

The World Bank Moscow Office is ready to use the research materials in its work. We hope for further fruitful cooperation.
